Royle family.

uktv gold, at the moment showing repeats of the Royle Family. Is your family like this ? Would you like your family to be like them ? They are very disfunctional but the way they stick together is heart warming. Do you agree or not ?

And yes, coming from near Manchester myself, there are some startling similarities between that family and my own :-(

I can categorically state that there is not one similarity between the Royle family and my own.

I do not think my mother has even tried a cigarette, and my father certainly has never drank cheap canned booze.

As I am the only child (not even a cousin :-( to my name) the house is often quiet.

And given they have five reception rooms, there is little clutter.

And if anybody swore in front of my mother, they would be expelled from the house forever.

And if Caroline Ahern was sat on their settee, they would probably call the police or set the dog upon her for breaking and entering.

The only thing I can relate to on the show is when they are watching Antiques Roadshow and they try and guess how much it`s worth although in my house it`s Cash in the Attic and Flog It

The tell tale sign Booster Girl will be if you wear cheap black leggings, one size too small with black bobbly bits around the gusset and inner thigh area.

When I say disfunctional I mean that they are always on different planets.

Barbara keeps them all together.
Jim is always arguementative and takes the mickey out of nana.
Denise is very selfish.
Dave is a dope.
Anthony is the family dogsbody.
Cheryl is the Butt of the Slimming World
Nana just wants to live with the family, but Jim is aghast at the thought.

Jim might as well be my dad, lol
Lurky well that is almost definately my little brother (he's 27 now aswell lol)
Denise is my older sister in a heartbeat and Cheryl well that would have to be a friend I had about 5 years ago lol
But I don't care what people think I love them all (sometimes) LOL
