Have to agree Mary T. Think corrie has lost it a lot in recent months. The storylines are poor and the contrived situations are laughable. Yes.... I know it's only a soap and corrie still has some good comic moments but I think the writers need to be threatened with a P45.

I know Dev has pretty bad taste in women, what with the chest wig incident in bed with Deirdre, but this post meopusal ex Bollywood star really is taking the biscuit.

I heard there is a new character coming onto the street, I think she may be Bollywood Nina's daughter and they both end up fighting for Dev's affection. God knows why.

I think Vernon's ditty"don't fall into the arms of a mason (Harry)" was hilarious. It's not hte usual Corrie thing; but it was a lighthearted touch - loved Liz's face. Bring Vernons ode out as a single I say... ;-)

Ethel thanks for the info on Jimmi Harkinshin! surprised with the shoplifting business,with all his money why would he bother! getting involved in bad publicity. Probably gets more attention than he does on the Street!
