Grrr, I HATE it when they do something like that. Three hours we've wasted watching the damn thing and for what, so that they can be 'clever' at the end!
I tell you what, though, I finished up hating them all - with the possible exception of Jack, who seemed as if given the chance he might be quite a nice lad.
I don't know whether we were supposed to feel sorry for little Emily, but I wanted to shove her through a plate glass window myself in the end!!
Oh-No-Noknow, but prove to us that you're not by giving us the answer ... as you see it! You can't make statements like that and then not follow them up otherwise we might be tempted to the idea that thick is as thick does!
Well, from the ending, I gathered Emily's father's girlfriend did it and that is why she was sitting crying and apologising. Also she was the only one that didn't have a scenario played out.
Well, I assumed she was just terribly jealous of Emily getting attention from her father and was also suffering from some form of depression (post natal perhaps???)
What a complete waste of time watching three episodes was!!!
What a waste of time that was! They could have fitted it all into an hour and made the end clearer! I presume that it was the fathers girlfriend Tash that murdered Emily - mind you, I could've done it myself by the end - annoying brat!
She probably just fell through it herself. Forensics were probably mistaken that she was hit before falling.
I couldn't understand why the attractive young teacher fancied the shabby, ugly guy, played by Kevin Whately and shag ged him on the table in that classroom.
I felt a bit let down at the end but felt that, though it could have been any one of them, it was likely to be the baby's mum judging by the floods of tears. I think the whole thing was pretty disturbing and none of the characters, with the exception of Jack was likeable. I felt like slapping the little girl myself but again she was a victim of circumstances and was probably doing and saying things even she didn't understand. The adults were a horrible lot and Kevin Whateley's character was a monster!
Well I have to say I was so choked off I wrote to ITV and told them what rubbish I thought it was. Three hours of nasty, disfunctional people behaving like prats and then the supposed 'answer' was no answer at all.
How did she get there? Did she take the baby? What was her motive? etc., etc.,
Well done Julia! I must admit I felt angry. ITV obviously have got themselves some impressive prime time viewing figures over the last few weeks by cheating us all!!
Another thing I noticed the side gate was bolted shut from the inside how the hell did she get back out especially if she had the baby?what a dissappointing end, the minute I saw kevin whately with the teacher I thought this is getting weird.
I thought that too about the gate, it was open through all the scenarios and the brat was sitting on the swing, looking round at whoever came up behind her, but when the neighbour saw her and ran to help, she couldn't get in!
