I suppose I'm going to have to give it a couple of episodes to get into it but to be honest I can't see Amanda Tapping as anything other than Samantha Carter in Stargate...

And her English accent is the worst I have heard. You can tell she is an American trying to be plummy. Half the time she slips into a very slight southern drawl.

I imagine the americans think it is authentic.....

Didn't see it but I saw the trailers - I prefer her blonde too

The picture in the tv guide didn't even look like her. I think it was digitaly enhanced...
