Anyone remember the farce of the wedding-dress which ended up on a bonfire? Do you remember someone marking a remark about `buying a dress at Debenham`s?` Who said it and why? Thanks

I`m just following up a lead found in this month`s Fortean Times describing how the mediaeval curse of St Edmund and a modern-day curse of a group calling themselves the Knights of St Edmund, came to bring about the possible downfall of John Prescott, dramatic share price fall of Debenham`s and a superstition which spread over northern England that prompted the unusual story line in Coronation St.

Hey, Cris, don`t you know by now that bizarre things are happening in this world every day. I know someone who put a needle in a doll they had made of her wife`s boss. That very day the boss had a heart attack. My friend couldn`t pull the needle out quick enough. The world is a lot stranger than we think, but it`s a lot of fun investigating it!
