Did anyone else think that last night's comedy awards was anything but funny?
Who were those 'celebrities' they wheeled out to read out the names of the winners?
How come some of the winning comedy shows, where on abscure TV channels?
What was funny about an over-sized female shouting out four letter words to the guests and people all dressed up in their finery throwing pieces of food and bottles at some of the winners?
It seems apparent that in this case that 'clothes doesn't make the man' (or even woman for that matter)
my rule of thumb is to see if Angus Deayton is involved. If he is I don't watch.I heard him described recently as a master of dry.I would have said drought.
Where was the comedy! Worst award show ever! I kept watching thinking I was going to be enterained what a waste of time!!! All the real comedy stars are gone, who in their right mind thinks Alan Carr is funny, never heard of some of the other shows, sad reflecton on todays entertainment!
For those who didn't watch - this is what you missed.
Standing in as host, Angus Deayton opened with the line: "Normally it's the winners who can't be here tonight, but in this case it's the host", before commenting upon complaints from the "30,000 self-righteous ***** who never heard the programme in the first place".
