I thought that it was quite good, and I also prefered it when Caroline Quentin was in it. I got a bit muddled on the getting rid of the wife bit though!

I just watched it, got a bit muddled, but have to admit I fell asleep watching it, not out of boredom but a very late new years eve I think.

Having enjoyed all the previous episodes, I felt really let down by this complete load of crap! Silly storylines, no idea who was who etc. Maybe because it was two hours they had to pad it out and in doing so have totally spoilt it and I for one will no longer look forward to a new series.

Although the plots in the past have been far-fetched (to say the least!) this one involving the bath of HOT water is so ludicrous I would be surprised if J.C. was not ashamed to be associated with it.

I have only watched a couple of these previously, and I really enjoyed this one.

I have little experience of the CQ episodes to compare, but I know she is always watcvhable in what ever she does, so i can apreciate others' approach to the 'new' sidekick.

Let's hope they make more anyway.

I've never seen JC before and I really enjoyed it; I will definitely look out for future episodes. Is it usually a series then as opposed to one-off's? I like the blonde girl but, like Andy, am unable to compare to CQ.

I did get a bit confused just after midway as I was fighting to stay awake and it all seeemed to go a bit scooby doo, whenever they would pinpoint one person it would turn out to be someone else, and then they'd turn the tables again, etc etc. I know that was the whole point, but it began getting tedious to me (possibly due to my tiredness) and I just wished they would hurry up and blame someone in stead of faffing around!

I enjoyed it too. What is the name of the actress playing the elderly lady, the murderer's mother? She was in something else the other day and it was bugging me then. They roll the credits so damn fast you don't get the chance to read them!

I love JC but have to admit i wasn't impressed and it was really slow. would still watch it though think it needs to find it feet again. x

to be honest i found it all rather jokey with her in it, perhaps we do need caroline back!
