Derren Brown - fainting

Sorry if this question has already been asked. I watched Derren Brown the other night. What was the fainting bit all about? I know he got up after and said that other shows end like that so his was ending like that too....except it wasn't even the end of the show! and after that he was acting very rushed and strange! I perssonnaly thing that he really did faint and then just tried to add it into the show.
What are your thoughts?

He didn't really faint - it's all an act and is done that way in every show of the tour! He was "ending the show" referring to that section which was about the format of and skills used by 1920s illusionists and showmen. If he had really fainted and then tried to add it to the show do you really think they would have left it in on the TV edit?

I think Derren is fantastic, and think lots of things he does are unexplained - but this isn't one of them - it's all part of the show and there to make people talk about it - mission accomplished!!

The set piece was about Victorian 'psychic/mind reading' shows called The Oracle. After fainting he came straight back through the curtains and said, "and thats how the show would have ended".
