claiming damages from my 10 year old son
My son was hit by a car whilst out on his bike last year September. I have now recieved a letter from her insurance company (addressed to my son) asking him for his insurance details so that the lady who hit him can claim damages for her car.
Can they do this...after all he is only 10 years old and can she try and claim damages from me?? after all she was the one who knocked my son over not the other way around and how much damage can a child actually do to a bonnet, although i don't if thats what she is claiming is damaged.
I'd appreciate any advice given on this
Thank you
