Norris and Mary

Corrie was so hilarious last night with the comic capers of Norris and Mary at their Cmper van dinner party.

I giggled when Mary said she sleeps in "Tweed by Lentheric and possibly a scrunchie and lies there stroking her Mu Mu until she falls asleep".

Brilliant. Did you also hear Blanche the other night when she shoved a thermometer in Peter's mouth because she thought he had a cold coming? He commented that it was a strange shaped thermometer and she said "it's a rectal one but it's been through the dishwasher"

Is there really dialogue like this in Corrie now? Haven't watched it in years. Is it getting ironic?

Mary is obviously a very passionate woman. Under her matronly exterior is a nympho fighting to get out and it's all wasted on prudish Norris. I thought Mary looked really nice last night, she'd clearly made an effort to seduce him.

I'm not sure Norris loved Rita, saw it as more of a convenient set up for them both. He seems to be an A Sexual type of person, who probably shouldn't embark on any relationship.

Norris has been married, hasn't he (Angela?) although I think she was a very domineering type if I remember, and had other husbands as well as him.

It was brilliant, I think they make a great comic partnership, unfortunately I read that "Mary" was being axed Norris's emotions are torn, he feels a duty to look after Rita but he should count himself lucky that another woman finds him "attractive" Great comic viewing!!
