Police dramas or seriel thrillers I love them ,can anyone suggest something you might have seen on TV or via the Internet ,surley I am not the only one who has been looking to other countries to compare there tv.
What was Hope Springs is it worth a look ,how about The Street

Check out 'NYPD Blue' - 12 series, but only four are officially on DVD - number Five is on it's way, and hopefully the rest will follow.

The try 'The Shield' - seven series, and eight is coming soon.

Both are mould-breaking TV with flawed anti-heroes who can be unpleasant, but see justice in their own way.

I like Law and Order Special Victims Unit and also Cracker (not sure if that would count but it's worth a go).

China forgot about L&o, SVU, have you seen the series Fitz? isn't that the "American" version of Cracker? I liked Robbie Coltrane in that.
I've not yet seen Fitz so cannot offer a comment on any comparison. If there is one to be made btw :)

I have watched The Bill since it started all those years ago,but was losing patience with it a few years when fighting crime was coming second to the officers bedding each other,bedding criminals etc. Over the last year,it has improved a lot and now I am looking forward to the new style and with Jack Meadows in charge at Sun Hill,things can only get better.
He is one of the most believable cops on television.

Bones and Cold Case are good shows too.

For something a bit left field....Dexter. Pure Genius!
