Dave Lamb is a brilliant narrator, so many clever asides; I watch the French version of this programme called A Diner Almost Perfect but the narrator plays it straight and it's nowhere near as funny.

Dave Lamb gets it spot on every time - and definitely makes the programme funnier than it otherwise would be.

the narrator is reading a script so i thik its the script writer rather than the narrator who makes the show so funny

It may be scripted danchip - but it is the delivery by Dave Lamb that makes it funny .
I'm sure not many people reading a script , could achieve this .

Mr Lamb / producers - dont repeat the the mistake of Fawlty towers , in only making a limited number of episodes )

Ooooooooooooooooo couldnt read all the posts as I have about 12 stacked up on Sky+.

I am addicted to it and i relax at nights watching it.

That guy with the Ferrari took the biscuit tho -I pmsl at him -I know someone like him which made it funnier.

Anyone started with the Four Weddings on Living -its CDM with claws -its bleeding brilliant.
