Children's ITV Programme

Does anyone remember a programme that was on Children's ITV late 80's early 90's, it was like an investigative/drama series
All I can remember is that it had two children (girl & boy) they went to some old bric a brac (not sure) shop and there was something behind a curtain or a trapdoor came into it. My brother and I loved it and can't remember what it was called!

 i know what you are talking about, i cant remember the name of it either and when i ask others they think i am mad!  The Boys name was T-Shirt (?) and they had to collect golden T's on their journey. the start of the seris always began in that brica brac shop and didnt they sometimes go through a painting to another land? Wasnt their also a witch trying to stop them?
