Do you remember the name of this show??

There was a kids TV show on in the States, possibly here in the UK, probably around the early 90s. I don\'t remember much about it, except that the lead was a girl, probably age 13, and her mother and brother and I think they travelled. Their father had died years ago and she sometimes kept a journal about things that were similar between them.

I seem to think it was a kind of supernatural kind of show, and the mom was played by someone famous\'s daughter (I think.) Does anyone remember the name of this show??

Probably way off with this but my first thought from your description was "Phenom" - a female teen tennis prodigy with a single mum, older brother and younger sister.
