Did anyone watch this last night on BBC4 - it was a follow up to the original documentary shown 2 years ago. It was good to see this follow up though and how some of the children's lives had changed for the better, because of the exposure BBC reporter Kate Blewett gave on this orphanage.
If you get the chance to watch it, have a large box of tissues at the ready, it will break your heart.

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.I know what you mean Daffy - There are lots of programmes about abandon children in these eastern europeon countries, but this one stood out, I think because most of the children had mental problems, the abuse seemed a lot worse. How people can treat kids this way, is completely beyond me, and the bottom line is about money and facilities, but human compassion is free.
