5 Soldiers Murdered in Cold Blood
The title above was front page headlines in the Daily Telegraph today.
Why "murdered in cold blood"? If this had been the coalition's special forces, "behind the lines", operating covertly, killing the "enemy", it would probably be described as a "heroic deed by these brave individuals". I was always led to believe that "all is fair in love and war". When an American drone aircraft crosses from Afghanistan into Pakistan and inflicts death and destruction on hundreds of the inhabitants there, how come this is not described as "cold blooded murder"? When wedding parties are bombed and this outrage is followed by an apology (if they are lucky), it is called collateral damage. No mention of "cold blooded murder". The Palestinians have been the victims of "cold blooded murderers" for decades but never a mention. It is about time that the politicians in the countries making up the coalition realised that neither Iraq nor Afghanistan want us there and until we get out and leave them to their own devices, this "murder" will continue ad infinitum.

When the drone was sent over it is not to directly target the civilians its just the Septics using a sledge hammer to crack a nut. I think what they are getting at here though is that this person was in a place of trust I doubt shouted a warning and killed them whilst they were having their lunch. Cold blooded murder. And I'm pretty sure I have heard the term murder in the Palestinies case.
