who is top gear's the stig and what happened to him last november

The stig is Perry Macarthy, last year the orignal Stig was in an accident, Perry Macarthy as far as I can work out was the replacement. Still trying to work out who was the original stig

i believe that the original stig was Richard Hammond the new presenter on top gear! that is why we have a new stig

I read on another website that Perry McCarthy was the original stig. When he'd had enough, he was replaced by Ben Collins.

The orginal stig was 'killed-off' when he drove the Top Gear Jaguar off the end of an aircraft carrier.
