(Sat 13:58 20/Mar/10) Use DVD Fab HD Decrypter to strip the DVD of it's copy protection first, then use DVD Shrink to compress it to fit a blank DVD and finally burn it to disc using Nero or something similar.
A trial version of DVD Fab HD Decrypter is available here:
http://www.dvdfab.com/free.htm
DVD Shrink is free software ( be careful, as some sites will try to get you to pay for it).

It may take a few hours to complete all this steps depending on how powerful your PC or laptop is.
I downloaded fab H/D Decrypter without problem ( several attempts, each time message states''program successful'') however ,when I try to play back or burn to disc, message states '' file not recognised'' can you suggest where I am going wrong ? Ron.
