I can record two different channels at the same time, (and watch a recording at the same time) excellent picture quality not affected by weather or trees or anything, very reliable and fast broadband, even though I don't have a phone line (my choice). Good choice of programmes on tv on demand, as well as tv catch up.
Less HD channels, well less channels full stop
Not affected by rain, and I miss the catch up TV.Sky basic box is ok,tv guide settings are useful, but I bet Virgin has improved since I last tried it(about 4 years ago)
You are not alone vikki67,I dont know if I should change or not either.

I personally prefer Virgin Broadband to Sky's as it is more reliable and faster being DSL and not ADSL but of course how close you are to the Exchange what quality your incoming connections are and whether you are using Wireless or Hardwired all will factor into connection speeds etc.
I do however love my Sky HD box and cant really fault it, it too can record two channels at once assuming you have the two incoming ports on your wall so Virgin is no better there! The High Def content is growing by the day and i now have ITV1 in HD , dont think Virgin has yet? I dont think that there is a huge amount of difference between the two just personal choice and circumstances i guess?
