He might be used to it from so many years in kitchens tasting and such.

I developed asbestos fingers when I worked in a restaurant kitchen, we would get baked potatoes straight out of the microwave, slice a cross in the top and separate as artistically as possible with my fingers.

After a week or so it was completely normal to do things like that.

I think because they are not hot and the sound has been added. The sausage doesnt steam in the cold air once it is bitten! And how can a sausage be eloquent? He annoys me!
