T.V. Licence
Why is it necessary to pay for a T.V. licence if you already pay "Sky" to receive broadcasts?
Most people "own" their television/s and if you only use "Sky" it seems as though your paying twice.
Or is there more to it than that?

When all TV including the BBC is self-funded effluent at the brain-dead level of Sky and ITV, these people will be happy. And before all the predictable whinges of "they're all crap anyway" - they're not. Whatever you think of the BBC, it is better quality than the rest, with a much richer range of programmes and programming. But sure, if you want it to be the same dross as ITV and Sky, go ahead and campaign for abolition of the licence fee.
