I've just caught up with CDWM - (the ex England footballers) and can only describe it as an insult to the brain! I don't really know why I didn't turn off as soon as I'd tuned in to it! What a bunch of childish louts. At least Carly Palmer gave the whole thing some sort of cohesion by actually taking the trouble to learn to cook a bit!
I agree with you, Squarebear, it was hilarious, but childish nevertheless. Interesting to compare it with the "Wags" version - at least they didn't chuck jelly at each other! Glad I didn't stay in specially to watch it though!
None of the footballers thought they could actually cook (only CARLTON Palmer took it remotely seriously) unlike the normal CDWM programmes which are full of people who think they can cook but actually can't
The best thing about the CDWM is the commentators sarcastic comments
Yes they were pretty dim. One of them put strawberries into a plastic tray with holes in, poured some liquid on them and was surprised when it started leaking everywhere.
Oh yes, squarebear, I loved that bit when the WAG put water in the berries and it leaked through the plastic punnet. Definitely laugh out loud! I read somewhere quite recently that one of the WAGs had actually practiced what she was going to make? huh? One of the things that made me laff was when one of the footballers was serving up his prawn cocktail and gave Razor Ruddock a double portion!
Who was the older WAG married to the black french player? What a cow !!!! I was so pleased when she came last.
I watched, expecting to hate all of them - but apart from the one above, I thought they were all nice women - nice, maybe a bit dim, but hey!!
The WAG married to Cisse was the one who had the huge blow-up of their "Hello" picture feature. How gross can you get? It also made me laff when she had to call him wherever he was to ask him how to say "Angel Delight" in French ...
