Tv Prog of the 80s Childrens

Hi

Can anyone help with this limited information, it was a childrens tv programme and it was based in a garden with I think a couple of creatures that lived there, sort of half human half animal and I think they were brown in colour? I know not much to go on but you never know if you dont ask TIA

not sure, just remember they were brown and can only remember they had faces cant remember seeing their bodies? perhaps it was just a nightmare lol

You are welcome, see as you said you dont know unless you ask :-) They were called Mossop and tidler I think also I think they used to sit around the well.

Maybe it was the half animal and brown faces description that threw them lol. It wasnt until you said wrinkly puppets I got it.

theres only one question I have never had answered which is why I first came to this site. Wanted to know where I had heard the sayng 'thats not good, thats not supposed to happen' said kind of slowly said in an american accent. Think its was an advert. No one knew.

They look like the people in one of the washing powder/liquid adverts, where the smell of the laundry brings out butterflies etc.

I can see two or three youngish Americans in a situation where they do something (machinewise), that should help them get out of somewhere. I'm nearly sure it's not an advert but is a film maybe, like The Goonies. I've written it down on a piece of paper and it's by my laptop, well, on the coffee table actually so I'll keep looking at it and it'll come to me, hopefully. It's annoying ME now. Ha.
