actually dyson and hoover are two brand names
vacuum cleaner is what you mean
and btw Hoovers are superior to dyson
I've got a Dyson and it's useless, won't get another one. There have been similar posts about this before and a lot of people recommended the Miele Cat & Dog but I think it's quite pricey.
After having a couple of dyson hoovers, which I didn't like I purchased a vax. Its good and the "animal" head it brilliant at picking up hairs from sofa's etc, but its heavy & hard to manouver.

Are Henry's good for Frankie? (My avatar)
I've got a Miele Cat & Dog and I swear by it - but it's not bagless as yelenots asks for - it's a cylinder machine with a small bag. Excess- as it says - for hair and fur.
Best price for Miele Cat and Dog ... or "Pet" is around £220 at the moment (web buy)
My M&D have one, and one of my customers just bought one.
They are happy with it. More so than with the Dysons they replaced.
We did have a thread a couple of months ago about what people preferred. Only 2 out of 10 I believe, liked Dyson. Rest were Miele or Henry's mainly.
look on th freecycle ya get good stuff on there : )
I love my Henry, well actually it's a Hetty, and my cleaner rated it the best. However, it's not bagless.
We have a Miele Cat & Dog - have had it for about 5 years - it's excellent - we have 2 indoor cats and a dog! Not bagless though!!
i had my dyson for 3 yrs which got it from my parents and they had it for 5 yrs : ) ya musnt be lucky wiv em bless ya
I have a Sebo, not bagless but why not? Excellent for pet hair.
We've got a Miele Cat & Dog - it's excellent - wouldn't have anything else. It may be pricey but you get what you pay for.
BTW, had a dyson once, total waste of space.
I believe this whole "bagless" thing is one big con, really.
It enables the manufacturer to make cheaper machines (cast plastic assemblies) and by adding extra (maintainable at customers expense) filters, meet the HEPA filtration standards.
I will not buy a bagless.
as i said my dydon is still fab BUT a henry hoover is better i want one one day lol
I have dogs and I bought a Dyson. I ended up giving it away. Hopeless. I've got a Henry now which, although some people aren't aware of it, can be used with or without bags, and it's excellent. I've also got a Vax, but as Stevie said it's heavy. I'd recommend Henry every time.
but i havent got dogs only a 10 wk old kitty so not much fur in my house well flat lol
I've had two dyson cleaners, both have been Ok the new rollerball is Ok.
Miele cat and dog . Although we no longer have a dog .
Not bagless though but far superior to that useless Dyson thing which is languishing in the loft ..
