i phoned up the DLA and they said that their investigating why i havent been getting any money...but the thing is, how long do these things take, how dos the investigation finish, as i need my money.
i don't even see how someone with a similar experience will help - they might have been investigating the missing money for another reason, there might be staff sickness, making it longer, there may be complicated circumstances. If someone else said " they investigated mine and it took six days" how will that make lindsey's wait any shorter/longer/easier?
Just had a letter back this morning saying if we don't hear anything in 8 weeks to contact them again but I do know it can take them up to 3 months to process a claim.
It's one of those 'how long is a piece of string' questions I'm afraid, it'll take as long as it takes. But your claim will be back-dated to when the problem was - or should be.
nah i havent moved at all but i phoned them up and they said that their investigating why i havent got any money in my bank account but it when dos arrive, i hope it is backdated
