Completely agree-her scenes with Sian (sp?) are awful, they sound like 2 silly little girls-hmm come to think of it. Their accents are terrible.

Im from manchester and the "accent" of some of them on corrie is awful ! i dont talk like that , its so exaggerated .... common ....lol

got to also agree that girl off emmerdale - dreadful absolutely rubbish - but corrie was on at the time and i just had to comment - also 'r' Sophie always looks like shes stifling a laugh when saying her lines - needs to off and stay with sarah platt then come back with compulsory head transplant (preferably someone with acting talents)

I agree - the girl from Emmerdale has a horrible whining high pitched voice. Sian in Corrie, I think is a far worse actress than Sophie. It's strange how they get some really bad actors and actresses in the soaps, when most of them are so good.

Brooke Vincent, who plays Sophie, is Manchester born and bred and is a great actress. She's a pleasure to watch.

Of course people in Manchester speak like that.....although I'm sure there are 'posher' areas of the city where the accent is not as pronounced

One doesn't need to be able to see to judge acting ability.

joe luke - your right! none! what bugs me is the VACUOUS difference in talent and absolutely NO talent - she is useless - as are most of the young actors - dont matter too much for the likes of Hollyoaks (mostly kids watchin anyway) but corrie is accross the board and the general concensus is that Brooke Vincent is a shi*e actress - i work as a supporting artiste and do ALL the soaps - and beleive me - in 'real' life does think she is 'all' that - dont get me started on 'Simon' (peters son) pretentious little 'thing'
