NCIS

This is my fave tv series. After the last series ended I got someone to download the latest US series as we would no doubt have had to wait til next year to watch it, and Mr Q and I watched all the episodes over a period of about 4 days (Yes I know it's sad but tv at the moment is dire, especially Saturday night). I'm even watching older series -only as far back as when Ziva joined. Can't think why it took me so long to get into it!
Anyone else a big NCIS fan?

I am a fan and somewhat confused by your statement about waiting to watch, since FXUK aired Season 7 eps of NCIS within 2 weeks of their US broadcast, the recent run here having ended in June.

Me and the wife are fans too. Better than the usual US drivel (and quite a bit of the UK drivel too!). My favourite line is still in series 6 when they are out at Duckys house investigating and Ziva asks Gibbs what Ducky was like when he was younger. Gibbs reply, " pretty much like Ilya Kuryiakin".

i loved that line too sddsddean and i know lots of people would never have got it, i have seasons 1-4 on dvd boxset and still haven't watched them, i have watched the show from season 1 though and so know the changes of character etc, i dislike joe spano alot as i always found him a poor actor and his scenes always make me cringe, but everyone else is great and of course gibbs is the best!

Love NCIS and CSI, CSI NY but not as keen on CSI Miami. Horatio and his sunglasses get on my nerves, although the new bloke is very tasty. Do like Mark Harmon as well.

Its a very good prog,with a bit of humour in it too,but Gibbs didnt do too many whacks on the back of the head last series.

I found this series recently and think it's great. I don't understand, though, why the episodes aren't consecutive, they're all over the place. It's the same with the CIS series, which I've also discovered. One was 'to be continued' but it never was. I agree about the current TV, don't ever watch the reality shows or soaps, and it is really difficult to find programmes which have a bit of intelligence about them. (I sound a snob, but really, who watches things like How to look good naked)

Hellywelly.Its usually a different case each episode,but there are some which has the same background for several episodes and even into the next series.

Agree with everybody, best series on TV. I like Joe Spano, he was in the previous best show on TV, Hill Street blues.

One of my favorite programs,in fact I'm watching a repeat now, the one about the dead blogger. Does any one know when the new series starts on FX? it must be about due. sddsddean I must admit the ilya Kuryiakin line made me smile
