How did your audition for Deal or No Deal go? Was it as bad as you thought, did you get through?

Hi Barb. I went to London on 26th August, along with about 150 others. Hi Barb. I went to London on 26th August, along with about 150 others. We were put into groups of about 30 people and we played a game, boys vs. girls, just a bit of fun really but probably to see how you interacted with each other. Then we went in turn to speak to camera for one minute about yourself, without stopping. I had been practising, so I was prepared. Then after waiting for ages, names were read out and asked to proceed to another room. I wasn't one of the names. Then the producer came and spoke to the rest of us, saying thanks for coming etc., we all thought we had not progressed to the next round, but he then said you are all lucky and going through to the next round. Everyone cheered. Next step was a five minute interview, again to camera, asking lots of questions about our application form (which took an age to complete, SO many questions, i.e. if you were an animal, which one would you be and why !!) We were then asked some questions about DOND, which I got two our of three right. Then we had to speak direct into camera and imagine we had some big sums left and it was an ad break, we were asked what we would say to get the viewers to come back.
An absolutely brilliant day, I am so pleased I went. It is just a waiting game now - apparently people have got through to the show and wait up to three yeats to get on, so I am not holding my breath!
