Soaplands Disappearing Kids

Anyone notice how various different kids throughout soapland disappear for days, weeks on end....
Such as Roxy's baby in Eastenders, Terrys son in Emmerdale, Viv and Bobs twins in Emmerdale..
Can you name any others??

Come to think of it, the pets do disappearing acts too, like ken and deirdres dog(where did he come from!!!!),

I expect it's a bit pointless to have them round all the time unless they are part of the story line (like when Ken needed to slope off with Pickles to met his fancy piece).

in corrie tonight Tracy's daughter has changed also.

Hi usathome - Tracey's daughter changed ages ago - I think she went upstairs as one child and came down as a different one. Think Ben is going to be a new person when he comes out of jail.

Possibly because the previous actor was scarier looking than Damien (The Omen)?

Sometimes it is the actors choice to leave. Sometimes the director decides that the current actor is not up to the challenging storylines set out for the character. (The character of Robert Sugden in Emmerdale is a case in point).
