which 3d tv ?

ok finally getting the insurance to cough up for our smashed tv and now looking for a new one ?

but we might as well up grade
so the questions are ?

Has anyone got a 3d tv yet ?

Which are the best ones ?

Which format to go for ?
( I know there are two types at the moment passive and active and I realy dont want to end up with the betamax when i should have got the VHS if you can remember that )

Down side to 3d? ( apart from having to ware silly glasses)
