I have Googled first but can't find it. Just watched Nigel Slater Simple Suppers. The banana and choc cake looked lovely but wasn't watching properly. I got 175g butter creamed with 175g half muscovado/half caster. Add 2 eggs, vanilla extract then add Crushed hazlenuts,175g flour,100g chopped dark choc and bananas. Bake for 1 hour at 170.

I wondered if anyone knows the quantities of hazlenuts (think it was 100 or 150g) and bananas and whether it was plain or self raising flour.

Thanks if you were watching and know the answer. I really would like to bake this cake at the weekend.

I love Nigel Slater....the way he talks about food----I just want to EAT!!!
75g toasted ground hazelnuts. 175g of flour he did not specify but I would use plain. Bananas he did not say, I would guess two or three depending on size and ripeness.
75G of hazlenuts toasted and then ground. 175g flour he did not specify but I would use plain. Bananas again he did not specify but I would use 2 or 3 depending on size and ripeness. I am going to make it tomorrow!
