Denise Nurse and Her Boots

We're just been watching Escape to the Country. I tried to Google this question but only came up with chat threads commenting on very much the same question - WHY does the presenter Denise Nurse wear clumpy black leather boots ALL the time, even with pretty summer frocks, and a leather jacket over the lot. It looks like she dressed in the dark, it's very annoying.

Think it's so she can traipse all over other people's white carpets when she's showing people around their houses, boxy!

i noticed that too boxy, I can only assume that she is expecting to walk through fields or very wet boggy places. The boots certainly look odd with the short thin dresses she wears

I suppose it depends how sexy you find Denise Nurse. Personally, I think she's GORGEOUS!

Although i am puzzled as to how someone who is a qualified (practicising?) solicitor also does the weather on Sky News!

Phaw, she's on the TV again at the moment - tacky-looking creased white cotton dress, and those damn black wellies again. Why doesn't someone TELL her....?

Have just watched her on Escape to the Country and have to agree. A bit of a wardrobe disaster!
