Comedians Who do you like old or new

On these pages I asked a question regarding THE ROYAL VARIETY on Thursday Evening a few ABBERS said that they thought the COMEDIANS were Rubbish! ,I would love to hear who you think is the best comedian .

Michael McIntyre is my current favourite. I wouldn't pay good money (or go free) to see Frankie Boyle or Roy Chubby Brown.

cant beat a bit of 2 ronnies, but do like new ones ie dara o'briain, michael mcintyre n so on, theres another comedian i like but cant remember his name, but has wicked one liners, im sure there is someone famous with the same name as him!

Mock the Week is my favourite programme for comedians. I did not like Frankie Boyles new programme although I usually find him hilarious.

I don't think Frankie Boyle should be banned, as he's clearly providing a service to those whose idea of "comedy" (sic.) is saying something shocking about somebody who's different in some way. People laughed at lepers in the Middle Ages, and Jack Smethurst could get a laugh in the 70s just by calling Rudolph Walker's character a 'nig-nog'.

Frankie Boyle really is nothing less than Bernard Manning reborn with a Scottish accent, I'm ashamed to say. If that's what you look for in a "comedian", then he's the best there is...
