I'm pleased that I know I'm getting a very big book for Christmas......

Christmas Eve : BBC4- ( 21.30-22.30 )Gospel and Soul Stars singing Xmas
Xmas Day : BBC 1 ( 1900-2000 )Strictly Come Dancing Xmas Special
BBC2 : ( 20.35-2120 ) Blackadder Xmas Carol
A fair mixture of Programmes but also a lot of repeat Xmas Films as usual.
sorry Redman...it will be strictly, noel edmonds and possibly something with animals in....mum is the keeper of the remote
Who am I to argue with that Rowan ! Your Mum can have the remote but I have you !! x
300 is on on Thursday, amazing film.
Nowt else has caught my eye in the Xmas Radio Times and for awd sake, do we have to have Dr Who on Christmas Day? limited apeal I would have thought,
There's nothing I would watch in that selection.
There's a 'spooky tale' on Christmas Eve called "Whistle and I'll Come to You" starring John Hurt - I'll definitely be watching that and corrie, of course.
What a load of tosh! There's absolutely nothing I want to watch on Xmas Day, good job I have a load of books I want to read and DVD's to watch!
i like your selection ed, but you have missed out the strictly special which we will be watching. soaps will be avoided at all cost.

having browsed through all the crimbo films, there aren't many that are less than 5 years old, and most of the kiddy ones we have on dvd anyway. i don't mind old films say from the 50s and 60s, but not the crappy cheesy 80's ones ....bah humbug.
Not one thing on for me. I quite fancy the new 'Upstairs Downstairs' Not sure when it's one though. Sorry I hate Dr Who and haven't watched it since I was about 10. Enjoy though everyone. Merry Christmas.
// The Chronicles of Narnia //

I remember as a schoolboy reading the ' voyage of the dawn treader ' .

The illustration of the beast , scared the sh1t out of me .
Is The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, BBC1, 5:15pm the follow up to the first one?
Wot? No Mary Poppins or Wizard of Oz? Crap Christmas this will be!
Anyone who prefers the Tim Burton abomination of 'Charlie' to the original with Gene Wilder and Roy Kinnear et all really needs to take a step back...
I'd never heard of Gene Wilder till Blazing Saddles came along. Absolutely brill!
