Stargazing Live
Anyone been watching this? Prof Cox is brilliant and the chap stuck outside also but why did they have to have Dara O'Brien on? He's everywhere at the moment. He's not funny and the programme didn't need a game show host/stand-up but would have benefitted from a presenter who would know when to shut up and let the expert speak. And don't get me started on Jonathan Ross! I thought we'd seen the last of him on BBC. He's far too fond of his own voice and only comes out with useless drivel! The whole three programme were ruined for me by these two people who the BBC seem to love having on the TV.

I've only seen one (other two taped and ready to go) but found Dara talked over Brians answer to his question before he had chance to finish explaining the answer to the previous one. It's had amazing viewing figures I believe, for a science Prog.
i liked the show very much, enjoyed watching dara and brian and felt their entusiasm. there are no programmes at all for your average everyday hobbyist astronomer so i really liked the format. mrs kou enjoyed it as well, which was a real surprise.
plenty of 'semi pros' on the web moaning about its simplicity and bemoning it stating the 'bleeding obvious', but seeing as it was on at prime time on a national channel i would gather it was aimed at people like me. and it hit.
a great show, and i wish there was more of it.
