Anyone watch this new cokkery series with Lorraine Pascale? I quite enjoyed it. She's very nice and knows her stuff - got the diplomas and worked in a restaurant. She made the most fabulous choccy cake last night!

we recorded it and might watch back tonight, although saw a few minutes.

she does seem down to earth, and appears to be focussed on what she is doing rather than selling us her personality.

Love cooking but I HATE baking!! I can't stand handling flour and eggs and stuff. I would rather grovel around in the garden muck, so I will stick to Alan Titchmarsh.

I watched it all the way through hoping against hope that it would get better........soda bread with treacle in.............that's just one step too far.........can't stand baking that is too far out there......who on earth can be bothered to place all those blueberries singly onto the cream.....life's too short for that.....needless to say, I won't be watching it again.
