I think I've sussed Silent Witness
I think that the father is the killer; the chap that was convicted was his gay lover and the daughter caught them and that's why he killed her.
The one that was convicted confessed to protect his lover, the father. that was why he gave incorrect evidence about how he picked her up (her friend said she walked with her to her door), to keep suspicion away from her father.
Anyone agree?

Wouldnt he have been too young to have committed the others if they were done in the late eighties? Did he kill the one they found buried? and who was the lover of the man in prison? the father or the son?
Nearly there madmaggot.
Mata - yes the brother did all of them - he would have been young but past school age I should think. He was having an affair with the guy in prison for the murders who was supplying him with ketamine and took the blame for him.
And his sister as ummmm said.
Agree with others last weeks was quite obvious.
