Peter Cook & Dudley Moore on Bruce Forsyths Show
2 Answers
Does anyone have any details on this. Bruce Forsyth had a really crappy show where he'd get up and dance and sing with people (more talented than him). It wasn't 'Bruce Forsyth's Big Night' as it was much later than that in the eighties. Forsyth got Moore on stage and Moore was at the piano when Cook walked on stage and came up behind Moore to suprise him. Needless to say Moore wasn't expecting this and didn't seem at all pleased and curiously enough Cook looked embarrassed. Brucie looked as pleased as punch and thought his ship had come in as it was such a coo for the show. Cook & Moore sang a painful rendition of 'Goodbye' to close the show that was almost embarrassing to watch. Does anyone know the name of the show and the date it aired and have any info about why Cook agreed to come on stage? Was Cook so low that he was desperate to do it or did he do it to **** of Dud? What's the story?
