Mr Q and I are big fans of Taggart - the storyline last night very very heart-wrenching. However DS Jackie Reid had apparently done a pregnancy test. How old is she supposed to be? (I know Blythe Duff is about 48 and has been in Taggart since 1990) but that bit of storyline is a little far-fetched but I am glad she has got herself a nice new bloke.

and it was heart wrenching but half way through it brought to mind the film Jude with Christopher Eccelston, which was the almost exact story except set in the 19th century and so I realised the boy had killled them, though in Jude he kills himself.
