Well that seems to be it, apparently, though I must say for once they tied up all loose ends, except for the mystery of the younger seemstress sister and her mystery man in Pontefract. Did she ever reveal what had happened?

I loved it too. The BBC can do great TV when it wants to. I shall miss it very much.

Oh I had a little cry when the little maid (forgot her name) was proposed to. Enjoyed it tonight.
Why didn`t the stonemason return to his family? I`m glad it`s finished, whoever spoke the way they did in country hamlets? More like wot oi do me dears, Oo-arrr.
I thought he'd turn up too. Did get a bit maudlin sometimes and the 'oooerrrs' were a bit daft. The big surprise was Margaret becoming pregnant. I didn't think they had it in them, I thought she looked too old.
Quite a few of my ancestors in the late 1800's had children well into their 40's...........
True craft my mum in law had 10 children her last one must have been when she was 45 or so.
craft: by your avatar some didn`t make it. lol

When it finished I realised I was grinning! It was a very, very pleasant hour. I thought Dawn French played a good part as well. (Don't like her when she's with Jennifer Saunders).
The maid was Minnie,a part played very well.
I think the reason Robert Timmins did,nt come back, was he was appearing in
Downton Abbey !

All good things come to an end, sad, but the rubbish TV goes on forever :(
Well I understand great expectations is coming soon and south riding too but I think that's on itv and for some reason I dislike most adaptations on itv
Downton was an exception

Thanks for that Ric.ror, something to look forward to then.
Wasn't South Riding on several years ago? Looking forward to Great Expectations though, I hope they do it in instalments like the book was written.
