On tonight's show there was a question about Bridge. Is it played with two packs of cards? the contestant answered true which was correct and the others agreed with him, but the answer came up as false. As a Bridge widow (him indoors is addicted!) I know that it is played with two packs of cards, so I hope the guy gets another chance!

Bridge is played with one pack of cards. The second is only to make the playing of the subsequent hand quicker, by shuffling while the first pack is being dealt. So the answer is correct.
Agree. I used to play bridge and you can happily play it with one pack of cards.
He was a very fit young man on that programme tonight, and I sorry he didn't win. But I am soooo glad the last man who was supposedly helping the lady win, then changed his mind, wanting £4000 to her £2000, lost the game.
