Eastenders' wedding cake

Just catching up on Eastenders, how come Heffa can't get a wedding cake 'topper'? They live in London, for crying out loud! Even in my small town I could get a whole wedding reception rustled up in a couple of days. Why don't they hold the wedding on the moon, it'll have more atmosphere!

I think 'Ev is trying to get an inedible cake, to ensure it's journey back to the 'the square' is uneventful.

If it was made of cheese, I doubt it would make it back to the square! One wedding I went to, the bottom layer was pork pie, middle was fruit cake and top was sponge. The 'topper' was the bride hitting the groom over the head with a truncheon. The table names were cop shows and the band were a Police tribute act (the couple were police officers). Best, and strangest, wedding I've ever been to!
