While You Were Sleeping is a romantic comedy with a twist. The film was directed by Jon Turteltaub and stars one of the ultimate romantic actresses Sandra Bullock as a lonely railroad clerk. Alongside Bullock is Bill Pullman as the brother of the man whose life she saves. The film, along with Speed, is credited with launching Bullock’s career.

The film was a box office hit and was very well received by audiences who loved Sandra Bullock’s charm. Her performance was brilliant and she really showed her vulnerable side as the lonely singleton girl. Bill Pullman is exceptionally good looking in the film and has genius comic timing; he is the perfect foil for Bullock's slightly clumsy role.

The supporting cast is also dazzling and bring loads of extra laughs. Stars include Peter Gallagher, Peter Boyle, Glynis Johns and Jack Warden.
