This Life is just as powerful a series as it was the first time round isn't it? Even though it was years ago it first came out, it hasn't dated - it is just as relevant as it was originally. That's really good drama.
I saw Cathy Come Home last week on BBC 4 for the first time since I saw it 40 years ago, in the sixties, when it made such an impression that the charity Shelter was created as a direct result of the play. Even after 40 years it affected me so much that I was in tears at the end when the children were taken away from her.
