Crysler crisis
I have a 2001 grand voyager. It has recently started cutting out whilst im driving, then it restarts. Its had a new battery, alternator, glow plugs, and fuel filter (its diesel). It has today totally cut out. My partner has tried changing the fuel relays, to no avail. When i try to start it, if you can hear the fuel pump, it wont "tick over". And when it "ticks over" the fuel pump can't be heard. I've spoken to crysler, they said bring it in....but it wont start!! lol and its been to a diagnostic machine, which showed nothing. I've been told its a common problem, but one i can't find a solution to!! If anyone has ANY suggestions, they'd be much appriciated!!!!! many thanks xxx

We suspect its a wiring fault rather than some serious engine failure. Crysler have more or less said they can't advise me over the phone etc... x
lol true, its because its over 2 tonne in weight and was being towed by a little citroen. Also i live in the middle of about 10 miles of tiny country lanes. Its closer to a garage now than it was, and we know someone with a recovery vehicle, but had a little baby in the car so our priority was getting the car somewhere safe, and her home. I is going to have to go to a garage though, think this job is too complicated even for him!!.
This might be of some help.......
