I now can't put my handbrake on because I'm not strong enough.
I'v been looking at some on the internet. Have any of You got or tryed one of these?
My main question is do they just help with the button as I don't have a problem wth this, it's pulling the handbrake up high enough so that it's on that I can't do anymore.

I suggest you talk to your nearest motability dealer for advice before you buy. Remember you should not pay VAT on this.

Hubby lent on the boot while he was putting stuff in it and off the car went towards a small slope leading to a metal barrier, He managed to stop the car in time. I was crying as a child could have been there.
I wont be driving till I get some thing sorted.
I feel for you. It is horrible to be unable to do things people take for granted.
Get it sorted.
All the best.
Some cars have a semi automatic brake like mine. It's a renault scenic and the brake comes on automatically when turn off the engine, and if I need it while the engine is running I just pull a handle on the dash.

That sounds brill postdog has it been adapted?
I was taught to always leave the car in gear when parked. That way it cannot roll away, even if the handbrake fails.
