Hyundai Coupe

I am planning to by a Hyundai Coupe (year 2000/2001 2.0 automatic). I would appreciate views on /if it is a good car to buy?  if not why?

This is a very good choice, apart from one aspect. First the good news, ignore the badge and what you have is a good value,responsive and fun coupe. The 1.6 is a bit slow, but the 2.0l engine is quite lively. The car got a facelift around this time, so Im not sure if yours will be pre or post this, personally I think the older ones look better. Bit grey and rather cheap inside, but well equipped. But why oh why would anyone want one with an automatic box? Defeats the whole object of a sports car IMO. Oh, and both the Ford Puma and Fiat Coupe are just that bit better.......
