Agree or not?

Just made some toast, one slice I cut across, the other diagonally. Both exactly the same apart from that but I found the diagonal cut one more appealing and tastier.

Diagonal Sandwiches?

I never cut sandwiches/toast straight across. Easier to eat and more attractive to look at diagonally lol.
as long as they are not burnt ill eat either.
I cut straight across else the bacon falls out when you cut it..............
Possibly more appealing. Tastier is a case of deceiving yourself.
I think it may also be that it's 'easier' to take a first bite from one of the narrow ends, rather than from the middle of a slice that's been cut across. Less chance of melted butter all over your face ;-)

Exactly pasta lol
I've added a poll, after much faffing, as you may have noticed!
....oh...and running down yer sleeves... ;-)
Can't say I've ever needed < 90º corners in order to avoid melted butter.
I've voted and replied on the other thread. :(

Brown bread is better when cut diagonally, not so fussed about white bread.
careful pasta.............your verging on foreplay here.
I sometimes cut sandwiches diagonally but never cut toast in half either way...
B) I don't like the flappy end when you eat a sandwich especially with an extra filling such as beetroot or picallilli.
agree, and carrots taste better as batons than circles.
Don't forget the little finger in the air if you eat diagonal ones with tea in a china cup ...
I agree with pasta, the diagonal cut toast is more inviting to eat because its more ergonomic.
