Whine of the week
15 Answers
This week my Whine will revolve around pets.
Bloody expensive things! Hundred bloody quid for some eye drops and shampoo. I could have gone to boots and got some optrex and head and shoulders for a tenth of the cost!!!
It's a bloody conspiracy to prevent me buying games for my PS3!!

Hey Al,
God yes I miss it at times. Having somebody else to take care of all your admin, dental and medical stuff for you. Free gyms. Subsidised bars. Hangovers at work being allowed. Skive drives. Free holidays under the title of "teambuilding"
Most of all, I miss my muckers. There was always someone to go for a beer with, or to catch a movie with. People that took others at face value, with no alterior motive. Civvy street seems full of people who'd stab their own Nan in the back for brownie points with the boss. The constant bitching and backbiting wears ya down.
However, as NoM said, I get my kids all the time and the furthest my work takes me is Kent (which, even on a bad day, is better than Afghanistan by a country mile lol)
Added to that, all this extra work means NoM has agreed to let me buy an Slfa Romeo after Xmas :D

Nice to hear it mate : )
Yep .. know what it's like. I really miss the flight line at Brize 10 Eng. Great fun we had there .. along with night shift mischief (you know what teckies are like)
Just make sure you don't buy Sara's old Alfa .. needed a rake of work .. in fact a lot of them do sooner or later!
Mazda 6's are old boy's cars anyway (if you still have it)
Hugs ... Al.
