We're test driving one at the weekend - offer is a Fabia 1.4 16v SE, 2012 plate, delivery mileage (50) for £8,995.

Sounds a damn good offer to me - is it "too good to be true"?

TIA for any input

From 9th April, Skoda was taking a huge 25% off new prices on some cars, including some Fabias. So, if this is a pre-registered car, it's not *that* impressive. You may get an even better price if you push. Good luck!

Petrol, diesel, estate, hatchback?

Petrol, hatchback, 5-door

List price (after discounting the current 0% VAT offer) seems to be about £10,200.

So your offer sounds pretty good as long as you are getting a decent valuation on any trade-in.

I'm guessing it's on a 61 plate rather than a 12, plate so may be ex demo, price seems good but do watch your trade-in value.

....Baldric, not an ex-demo.....50 miles on clock....

Thanks everyone - sounds like we'll have to haggle over the trade-in value.

(I say "we" - I'll let the wife do it - she's much better at it than me!)
The dealers can be pretty sneaky with trade in values.

Try walking away, and see if the offer improves.
